A brief posting; if you have been waiting for the small stuff it’s on the way. I spent ages photographing and zooming a good selection of 24th scale dolls which will be in the shop any minute now. Once they are, that will complete the core selection, I don’t think I’ll be quite as likely to fill entire shelves in the shop at once because in future I’ll be making them one at at time and putting them into the shop in similar fashion.
So apologies if you have been waiting patiently for little dolls. I should also say that items that are in the shop will not appear at Miniatura. If they are in the shop that’s where they’ll stay until sold. The effort required to make a virtual shop is as nothing to the effort required to turn what used to be my home into a real warehouse. Everything is bagged and tagged so you get the actual photographed item as quickly as possible.
Last dates for Christmas posting are as soon as the final items appear if you are southern hemisphere, and to be fair, even though everything is sent first class recorded it may be a bit late this year. Northern hemisphere far from the UK, next week at the latest, UK, well you know what the post is like at present, I wouldn’t leave ordering much later than about the 16th to be safe.
Thank you for your patience, after the Christmas panic I’ll get on to the ‘how to’ articles in the permanent content. If there’s anything you’d like help with, please just say. This includes anything to do with dolls and dolls’ houses. If anyone wishes to complain that since they started collecting dolls and houses their family no longer want to know them, I cannot fix this problem. However if any reader has discovered the answer please email urgently, I am trying to keep mine, though to be fair if someone left that would make room for a photography studio. I am becoming expert at balancing stuff in piles while the dining table becomes a studio. It takes about 16 square feet of space to photograph dolls 2 inches tall, ridiculous!
Anyway, small stuff today, or thereabouts.
