Further to the news of my father’s death, I’d like to thank everyone who got in touch.
I’ll be away in Cheltenham with my mother, who doesn’t do computers, so my husband and son will be picking up any email messages, whether from all the official bodies I’ve given my email address to, or my friends. So please email as usual, they’ll relay messages to me.
I’m looking forward to the day when life returns to new normal and I can sit here happily and have some fun again.
My father has left his body to medical science, which has complicated things considerably. However I am grateful for the vicissitudes of my life so far; they toughen you up for the tough stuff, so you are tough enough, and I am.
And it’s raining.
