I’m sure Miniatura is as lovely this time as ever but I went for a day out in a Georgian mansion instead.
Looks a bit empty, doesn’t it. I wonder why that could be? Shall we go into the hall?
No one at home but all the lights are on and the fires are lit. Nice room.
So is this. Wait a minute. Why can I see the edge of the wall?
And why has this wall got an opening in it? Is it so you can get at this room?
Or is it because…………….
It’s a dolls’ house!
This is the latest, greatest, most beautiful creation of Tim at Anglia Dolls Houses. It’s the first thing you’ll see as you walk in the door at Miniatura and it’s just one in a hall full of wonders and delights.
(I didn’t go to a stately home at all.)
(I went to dozens and dozens of them.)
At Miniatura. (I bet you guessed.)
And now I’m going to bed. (I bet you guessed that too.)
Tomorrow is pay at the door day. I’ll be there, having another look at this.
What a house!
What a show!
(It’s Miniatura, at the NEC, tomorrow, Mother’s day.)
(A good day out. Indoors.)
