Whilst I never like to make predictions, I think it is safe to say that I will have some interesting new things this Miniatura. The boys toys are coming together very nicely. The last week has all been about horses though not the unicorn you can see in the picture.
The horses that have been occupying my time are for the cowboys and Indians, which are all done now. I made plenty, pouring and firing ten more during the week because at three fingers tall they are the right size to be a toy in twelfth scale, a pony in 24th, exactly right in 32nd scale, and a large carthorse in 48th scale. I’ll take some photos at the weekend.
Meanwhile there are four of the multiply jointed unicorn in the picture giving a lift to the rolling robots. I made more of the rolling robots when I was making the horses because they are so cute. As you can see there are walking robots too.
Right, I’m off to get on with the little sailor dolls, who I’m currently making removable hats for, with elastic under the chin so they can keep them on in gales. The unicorn and his pals are going to set off to the Min under their own steam and I’ll catch them up later.
